DIY Bracelet

  Am revenit cu un nou DIY draguț și simplu. / I’m back with a new cute and simple DIY.

  Aveți nevoie de următoarele: / You’ll need the following:

  Prima dată am tăiat puțin elastic (nu conteaza așa de mult culoarea, deoarece va fi acoperit de șirul de mărgele) pe care l-am îndoit în două și l-am atașat de brațara pentru a vedea dacă îmi vine bine. Apoi am început să înșir mărgelele pe ață. M-am oprit după ce am stabilit ca e suficient de lung șirul și după ce aveam camera plină de mărgele. / First thing I did was to cut the round elastic ( the colour doesn’t matter, since it will be covered by the bead string) and bend it, so that I have two strings. I attaced it to the chain in order to see if it will fit. Then I started stringing the beads on the thread. After I considered it was enough to fill the elastic cord, I stoped. Oh, i also stopped after I had bead everywhere in my room.

  Am legat ața (eu am folosit gută elastică, dar nu are importanța, puteți folosi și ață normală)de capătul lanțului. Apoi am început să înfășor ața în jurul celor două fire de elastic, astfel încât acesta să fie atașat brățării. Și de abia pe urmă am împins mărgelele și am început să le înfăsor în jurul elasticului.  Când am ajuns la sfârșit, am lăsat puțin elastic neacoperit, am înfășurat din nou ața si apoi am facut mai multe noduri și am atașat capătul de lanț. Puteți să o atasați pe aceasta la rândul ei de ultima zală sau să folosiți o zală separat (eu așa am facut, dar am uitat s-o includ la materialele utilizate)./ I attached the thread (you can use any type of thread) with a nod on the chain end. Then I started wrapping the thread around the two strings of elastic, so that the elastic could be attached aswell. After that I started pulling the beads and wrapping the string around. When I reached the end, I left a small part of the elastic uncovered and started wrapping the thread (without the beads) again around the elastic string and tied again with several nods.  Then I attached the end caps. You can either attached this to a split ring ot to the last one from the chain (I used a split ring which I forgot to include in the material list).

   And this is the final result.

 

  Sper că vă place. Pe mână arată mult mai bine decât în poză deoarece partea cu lanțul este mai mobilă și din cauza asta arată mai ciudat în poză  / I hope you like it. It looks better on my hand than in the picture, because the chain part is much more mobile and that’s why it looks a little bit funny in the picture.

Review Oriflame Kit Sprâncene/ Brow Kit

           Până acum ceva timp, foloseam un creion de sprâncene de la Yves Rocher. Eram mulțumită de el, dar din păcate l-am pierdut. A trebuit să mă reorientez, deoarece nu aveam în plan să plasez o comandă doar pentru creion.  Am ales kit-ul de la Oriflame din curiozitate și pentru că mi-a fost mai la îndemână să-l comand decât să mă plimb prin magazine și să le analizez pe toate (sometimes I‘m too lazy for that)./ Until not such a long time ago, I was using a brow pencil bought from Yves Rocher. I was satisfied with it, but unfortunately I lost it, so I had to try something else, since I didn’t want to place an order just for the pencil. I chose the Brow Kit from Oriflame out of curiosity and it was much more simple to order that instead of browsing the shops (sometimes I‘m too lazy for that).

Scurtă descriere: Cutiuța se deschide ușor, iar în lateral are mic sertar cu două pensule.  Dispune de două nuanțe de fard pentru spâncene și ceară, care ajută la fixarea fardului.  În instrucțiunile de folosire este indicat faptul că pensula albă este pentru ceara și cea neagră pentru fard./Brief description:  The small package opens easily and on the side it contains a small drawer with 2 brushes. It contains two brow shadows and setting wax. The instructions point out that the white brush should be used for the wax and the other one for the brow shadows.

 

   Ce mi-a placut la el: În primul rând cutia. E mică și ușoară, așadar nu ocupă mult spațiu în portfardul meu. Are oglindă, încă un plus. Faptul că are două nunațe este foarte util, deoarece cele două pot fi combinate pentru a obține nuanța potrivită.  Rezistă destul de bine./ What I like about it : First of all, the package because is small and very light, therefore it fits just great in my makeup bag. It also has a mirror, another plus.  The fact that it comes with 2 shades is very useful, because these two can be combined so that you obtain the right shade. It has a long resistance.             

  Ce nu mi-a plăcut: Fardurile sunt cam prăfoase. Legat de pensule, nu mi-a plăcut faptul că nu sunt plate, ci mai degrabă ovale, ceea ce îngreunează puțin aplicarea din punctul meu de vedere. / What I didn’t like about it:  The shadows are a little bit dusty (I hope that’s the right word). I also didn’t like the fact that the brushes are not flat; they tend to have an oval shape.

                Sunt mulțumită de produs și nu cred că o să revin la creionul de la Yves Rocher./ I am satisfied with the product and I don’t think i will return to the Yves Rocher brow pencil.

Autumn Crush

Fiecare sezon e marcat de o anumită piesă vestimentară. Cel puțin așa e pentru mine. Ei bine, toamna asta m-am îndragostit de dressuri.  Îmi plac atât de mult! Am impresia că o astfel de pereche completeaza ținutele simple. Am fost plăcut surprinsă  de câte modele există./ Each season is marked by a certain fashion piece. At least that’s what I think.  Well, this autumn I felt in love with tights. I like them so much!  In my opinion, tights manage to complete a simple outfit.  It was a pleasant surprise to see how many models of tights are out there.

Momentan, pe lângă o pereche de dressuri negre simple, mai am următoarele perechi. / Besides a pair of simple black tights, i also own the following pairs.

Wishlistul meu însă mai cuprinde o grămadă de alte perechi./ My wishlist is full of other pairs as well (i won’t stop here!)

Pe lânga dressuri,  în fiecare toamnă mă reîndrăgostesc de geci și de cardigane.  Și la acest capitol există o grămadă de modele pe placul tuturor, nu e așa? Geaca de tip piele e de nelipsit și sunt convinsă că fiecare dintre noi are una. În ceea ce privește cardiganele, cele cu model aztec sunt preferatele mele./ Besides tights, each autumn I fall in love with jackets and cardigans as well.  There are a lot of options out there for these two as well. The leather jacket (leather or imitation) is a must and I’m sure each one of us has at least one.  Speaking of cardigans, my favourite ones  are those with an aztec print.

 Nu știu de ce, dar toamna îmi place să port bucle. Deoarece nu dețin un ondulator (se află pe lista de must-buy-one-day) am căutat tot felul de alternative. Needless to say că youtube-ul e plin de astfel de alternative, începând cu metodele cu placă până la cele heatless. Am încercat câteva și am fost încântată de rezultat, deși nu a fost unul perfect (încă lucrez la partea asta)./ I don’t know why, but I like to wear curls in autumn.  Since i don’t have a curler (it’s pending on my must-buy-one-day list), I searched for alternatives. Needless to say that youtube is full of such alternatives, starting with methods using a straightener and ending with the heatless option. I’ve tried a few and i was excited of the result,although it wasn’t a perfect one (I’m still working on it).

White Kohl Pencil/ Eyeliner

Nu e așa că nouă femeilor ne place să avem un lucru care poate fii folosit pentru mai multe lucruri, or is it just me? Am ajuns să-mi doresc un creion alb după ce am văzut ce efect oferă la o tipă pe Youtube. Cea mai bună alegere a fost creionul kohl nude de la Oriflame.  Am căutat tot pe Youtube și alte întrebuințări utile ale acestui creion și am dat peste acest video.  M-am gândit să vă prezint ce am învățat de la ea pe scurt și anume cum folosesc  eu deobicei creionul alb./Isn’t it true that we women love to have things that can be used for other things, or is it just me?  I ended up wanting a white kohl pencil after I saw the great effect it had upon a girl on Youtube. The best choice for me was the nude Kohl Pencil from Oriflame. I searched on Youtube other utilities of the white pencil and found this video. I thought I should show you what I learned from her, meaning how I usually use my white pencil/eyeliner.

1.  Cel mai des îl folosesc pe linia interna a ochiului, astfel ochii mei par mai mari./ I use it on my lower waterline, which makes my eyes look bigger.

2. Îl folosesc si pe post de highlighter în colțul interior al ochiului, ceea ce din nou oferă un efect de mărire a ochiilor./ I use it also as a highlighter in the inner corner of my eyes, which also  makes my eyes look bigger.

3. Uneori îl utilizez și post de highlighter sub sprâncene, din cauza texturii moale pe care o are./ Sometimes I also use it as highlighter under the brows, because of its soft texture.

4. Poate sună ciudat dar am impresia că buzele mele nu sunt conturate. De aceea îmi place să-mi conturez buzele cu creionul alb. Aplic creionul și apoi cu degetul îl întind. Rezultatul : buze mai bine definite plus culoarea rujului iese mai bine în evidență./ It may sound weird but I have the impression that my lips are not well defined. That’s why I use the white kohl pencil/eyeliner on my lips as well . I apply the white kohl pencil/eyeliner and then with my fingers i blend it. The result : well defined lips, plus the colour of the lipsticks pops out.

Am văzut că mai poate fi folosit și ca bază pentru farduri sau pentru a scoate în evidență eyeliner-ul negru. De asemenea, cu ajutorul lui se pot obține buze ombre./ I also saw that white kohl pencil/eyeliner can be used as an eyeshadow base. It can be use also for ombre lips or to highlight black eyeliner.

DIY Bracelet with suede cord

Îmi cumpăr o grămadă de accesorii pentru realizarea de bijuterii, fără să am un plan concret pentru ele. Ideile îmi vin treptat.  Cam așa s-a întâmplat și cu această brățară. Totuși, șnurul suede l-am cumpărat pentru un colier, pe care însă nu l-am mai realizat. Nu puteam însă să-l las deoparte, așa că mi-a venit ideea acestei brățări. Mi-a luat totuși ceva până să mă apuc de realizarea ei. / I buy a lot of accesories for jewelry making without having a plan for them. The ideas come gradually. That’s how the idea for this bracelet came to me. Even though I bought the suede cord for a necklace, I did not make it. I couldn’t just leave it there, doing nothing, so the idea for this bracelet popped in my head.  It took a while until I managed to make it, but here it is!

Materiale/ Materials:

Prima dată am înșirat mărgele pe gută. Apoi am taiat șnurul (lat de un 1 cm) și am fixat capetele, dupa care am pus zalele si închizătoarea. Cu o linie am măsurat distanța pe care vreau să  se întindă șireagul de mărgele, stabilind mai întai lungimea brățării. Șnurul meu  are 13 cm, așa că am înfășurat șireagul de mărgele pe o distanță de 5 cm, 4 cm de la fiecare capăt. Am folosit lipici pentru a fixa capătul șireagului de mărgelele de brațară si am continuat să-l înfașor în jurul brațarii. Tot cu lipici am fixat si celalalt capăt./ First of all, I stringed the beeds up the firline. Then I attached the bracelet ends, the split rings and the clasp, to the suede cord (width 1 cm). With a ruler, I measured the distance where the bead string will be wrapped around the bracelet. To do that, I measured first the length of the bracelet. So my suede cord has 13 cm, therefore I wrapped the bead string for 5 cm, leaving 4 cm from the bracelets end. I used glue to secure the bead strings ends.

Sunt încântată de cum a ieșit. Mai am câteva idei de brațari cu acest șnur , pe care de abiaaștept să le realizez. / I like the result. I have other ideas regarding this cord, which I am excited about.
